Aunt Ruth's Kitchen - A Family Cookbook

When you were growing up, did you have one relative who always seemed to be in the kitchen? Did you have one person in the family who always seemed to be whipping up tasty treats for family gatherings? In our family, Aunt Ruth was that relative. For all our lives, Aunt Ruth introduced us to one delicious food after another.

The rest of the family isn't bad in the kitchen either. We've all got a dish or too that makes the mouth water.

Aunt Ruth's Kitchen was created by Jonathan and Steven with the help of our entire family as a place to store the "family recipes" that we love to break out for those times that we're all together.

We grew up on these recipes and we didn't want to forget their history or their preparation. These are our meal time favorites, and they'll always be special to us.

Aunt Ruth passed away November 9, 2003.
She was seventy-eight. We miss her.

For 18 years, this was a very small site but in 2021 we decided to expand it with recipes from several recipe collections that belonged to my grandmother. The first collection that we are adding is A Cook's Tour by B'nai B'rith Women: Northern New Jersey Council - First Edition 1960. This addition to the site is still a work in progress.
