Nut Torte for Passover
|½||cup Ground Nuts|
|9||oz. Kosher Cake Meal|
|1||cup Ground Walnuts|
|6||beaten Egg Whites|
Mix the shortening, sugar, nuts, egg yolks, and cake meal well and put in an oblong tin. Spread and cover this mixture with a layer of jelly.
Mix together the filling ingredients and spread the filling on top of the jelly. Bake in moderate (350 degree) oven for about one hour.
