Steak A La Max

Recipe provided by Bess Stollman of the Marion Rappeport Chapter.


inch steak free of bones or fat
¼ cup Wesson Oil
¼ cup Water
tsp. Salt
tsp. Black Pepper
tsp. Paprika
tsp. Garlic Powder
¼ tsp. Mustard Powder
Scallions finely chopped


Slice steak across grain at angle into 1/8 inch slices.

Mix oil, water, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, mustard powder, and scallions together. Soak sliced steak in oil mixture.

Broil slices on each side for 30 seconds under a hot broiler. Serve immediately.
